A human rights defender from Guantánamo intimidated and prevented from participating in a protest

In the morning, 28 March 2021, repressive forces of the Cuban regime appeared in front of the house of an activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU), Bartolo Cantillo Romero. The goal was to prevent him from leaving the house and participating in a protest, under a threat of being beaten up. There were policemen and regime collaborators in front of his house, holding stones and sticks, preventing him from joining the event when people were gathering in parks wearing something blue as a form of protest against beatings, lack of freedom and violations committed by the regime. The operation was led by State Security agents known as Víctor and Kevin.
