A minor with intellectual disability is denied access to education



On September 20, 2018, Damaris Martínez Borges, mother of Jorge Rodríguez Martínez, 16, who has an intellectual disability, went to the special school Eudis Castillo Giménez to solve her son's case, but received no response. Since 2015 the minor is not allowed to attend the special school, nor to have access to any other school. The young man had 2 years without receiving the education that, according to the government, is free and a right of every Cuban.
