An activist Yonny Figuereda Pileta was going to Guantánamo City in order to attend a protest march which is held every Sunday in whole Cuba and demands the release of political prisoners and social changes in favor of common people. At 5:30 am, he was detained by Major Eglis in the car he was traveling by. He was threatened with imprisonment for his political activism.
