Activist detained and left in the car under the sun for 3 hours without the possibility to open a window or a door

Human rights defender Esteban Ajete Abascal was going to the meeting of the Legal Rescue Foundation. On his way, he was arrested by the Lieutenant Colonel Beune and Captain Juan Pérez. Violently and with pushes, he was put in the car and taken to the Police Unit of the municipality of San Juan and Martinez. They left him in the car in a parking lot for 3 hours. At that time, he was mistreated when he tried to open the car door to catch air and breathe, as there were high temperatures and strong smell of gasoline. He was then transferred to the Pinar del Río municipality, where he was released.
