López Ramos was summoned by the Sector Chief of his area to present himself at the Reparto Obrero Police Unit. He was threatened for not having a work relationship and for meeting on a street corner with people who are known to oppose the regime. He was warned that a danger index could be applied to him if he continued to engage in such activities. He was finally released that same day after being detained for three hours.
