Ramon Olivares Abello is a member of the Eastern Democratic Alliance. He was detained on 21st of October, 2013 during a peaceful protest in front of the Omar Ranedo Pubillones for taking pictures. The protest aimed at pointing out the bad conditions in the Cuban health care system.
