Laudelina Caballero Charón was trying to get to Guantánamo City to attend Mass conducted in Santa Rita de Ricci Church - as Ladies in White do every Sunday. When she was passing through the checkpoint in Caimanera, she was detained and taken to the local police station. She was kept there until the Mass finished and at 8:30 released.
