On October 17, 2015, Zaida Lazara Hernández Rubi was detained and interrogated due to a distribution of pictures with her daughter, a human rights defensor, asking for her liberation. She was interrogated for 3 hours by State Security officials. Mrs. Zaida was not taken to the police station, but one of the state farms in the village was used. Her daughter was put in jail for corrupting of minors. Mrs. Zaida submitted her case to CUBALEX lawyers, because in her daughter's case many unclear facts have been found and it is supposed that the trial is not going to be transparent.
