Alexander Chacon Lamoth was heading to the Mass in Santiago de Cuba to demand peacefully the release of political prisoners and the changes in Cuba that are necessary for achieving the true freedom.
At 6 a.m., Alexander was arrested by Captain Juan Carlos, the head of the Reparto Obrero, and taken to the police station. They threatened him with going to the prison for counter-revolutionary activities and after several hours they let him go.
