A case of a man detained, threatened and beaten for having critized medical conditions in Cuba (Guantanamo)



Jose Cano Fuentes was in the hospital on the occasion that his wife was giving birth. At the time the sheets of the bed were so dirty so she was operated being used caesarean section. The room staff had told to Jose that they had no more sheets and they asked him to bring them from his home. Jose Cano began to speak to relatives and workers having wondered where was the medical power spread so much by propaganda in Cuba, which in a place as that one would have been perfect. Police, hospital workers and agents of state security, including the captain Bryan identified themselves at the place. Jose was taken to the police sector of the hospital located on the second floor. There Jose Cano Fuentes was beaten and threatened with being charged for the crime of disturbing public order. He was held in place for 2 hours.
