A Lady in White from Guantánamo detained with her daughter for 7 hours

Celina Osoria Claro was walking down the Pedro Pérez and 3 Sur Street and taking her daughter for an appointment with a doctor. Suddenly, she was detained, without any explanation, by two State Security officials on Suzuki motorbike known as Víctor and Luis Ángel. In a moment, a patrol car arrived and drove Celina and her daughter to the police station. They were detained there for more than 7 hours in a prison cell without any visit or explanation. At 2 pm, official Víctor appeared and released them. Before they left, the only thing he said to Celina was: “Don’t be crazy, you might disappear and nobody would help you.”
