"Lisandra, a mother of five children, participated in the July 11 protests in Güira de Melena. She was arrested on July 22 and the police did not inform her family of her arrest until July 29. Lisandra was taken to El Guatao prison, but was held isolated, her family could not visit her and she did not have access to a telephone.
Since before the protests, Lisandra had already been denouncing the constant harassment she was experiencing from the State Security and the threats she was receiving about having her children taken away from her.
Currently, she is accused of the crimes of sabotage and public disorder.
