A citizen was imprisoned for participating in the July 11, 2021 protests against the Castro regime. The protests were suppressed by beating and the use of incapacitating sprays, however, he managed to escape. He was subsequently arrested, imprisoned and included in the collective prosecutorial request of 20 years of prison for the crime of sedition.
