Activist detained on the street, driven to Parque 24 and threatened



In the morning, 16 April, 2020, Rafael Puente Creme was on his way to do some shopping in the Pedro Pérez Street and El 8 Norte. Suddenly, he was intercepted by a patrol car and driven to the police unit Parque 24. There he was detained for more than 3 hours. During this period, he was threatened with being beaten up and imprisonment by a State Security official Víctor. He was also shown an alleged file open against him. "You are using you house in order to organize meetings against the good customs of the revolution," told him the official among other threats against him and his family. He was searched as the officals were looking for his camera. Later on, he was released.
