Human rights activist detained and threatened by the State Security



Bartolo Cantillo Romero was on his way to the Santa Catalina de Ricci Church in order to attend Mass which is carried out there every Sunday. When he was walking down the Los Maceos Street and 3 Sur, the State Security (DSE) officials known as Kevin or Jefferson and Luis Ángel or Roberto detained him. They took him to the police unit located in the municipality El Salvador. They released him at 8 pm on the same day. Morever, Bartolo has been threatened with imprisonment on several ocassions for his political activism.
