Human rights activist from Caimanera threatened with imprisonment

Yaumel Acosta Aguilera went to accompany his cousin Yeris who was summoned to the State Security Detention Center known as Operations on 17 March at 3 pm. After Yeris was interrogated, the State Security (DSE) official known as Major Sergio asked Yaumel to enter the office to be interrogated as well. Sergio threatened Yaumel with imprisonment for his political activism in the municipality of Caimanera. He also told him, that he would be put in jail together with Yeris and they would draw lots to decide who would go first. After the official finished the interrgation, he gave Yaumel an official warning for reasons he made up. Yaumel refused to sign the document.
