Baracoa citizen detained and accused of thefts

On 10 January 2020, Sergio was on his way home, when suddenly a sector police chief in Jamal, Captain Midelsys Duran Campo, accompanied by his colaborator, stopped him and took him by force to the police unit in Jamal.There he was accused of thefts which had occured at the end of 2019. However, Sergio explained that from middle December, he was in Santiago de Cuba at the house of his father. This was testified also by Sergio's wife who came to the police station. Sergio was given an official written warning and his peddler licence was suspended.
