Citizen of Guantanamo was detained and fined after police registration in her house



The chief of the sector, Lieutenant Olimpo, and police officials made a visit to the house of Amarlis Jimenez Lopez. The officers searched for something of illegal origin and so Jimenez Lopez asked them, what the crime was that she supposedly committed. The head of the sector said she was accused of being involved in illicit business. Because of her protest, she was detained and taken to the Parque 24 police unit, where she was detained from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm the same day. Upon her release, she was fined 300 pesos and warned that if they caught her in illegal activity, they would arrest her.
