Independent lawyer was summoned for false reasons

A messenger arrived at Jean Pierre's residence to notify him of an urgent appointment at the identity card offices. Concerned about the notification, he reviewed the citation and corroborated that they asked for the property title of a house for which he was the new owner. When he arrived at the identity card offices at 3 pm, it was closed. He showed the citation and they told him that they were waiting for him. This was the moment that he realized that it was a trick of State Security. They asked him about his relationship with foreign NGOs and opposition groups in Cuba. He responded that as a lawyer, by legal ethics, he should attend to everyone equally and the trips he was making were to improve his knowledge for advising clients. They made reference of all the trips he had taken and the places where he worked, to know what he was doing now. They asked him if he had affiliation with specific people that were of operational interest. He replied that he knew some of the names mentioned but had no close ties with them, saying that having them as friends was not a crime. They asked him about his role in JACU and he told them that he was a member of the Board of Directors and his job was to empower young people who do not study or work so that they do not commit crimes, that in this way he was contributing to society and did nothing wrong. Finally, they started telling him false information and accusations, but he recognized it. He asked them to stop cheating him the next time they told him it was for one thing and then it turned out to be for another, they apologized and told him they would keep in touch.
