About 9 a.m., Lazaro, UNPACU activist, was heading towards the church Don Vosco when he was arbitrarily detained by an agent known as Julio Fonzeca, agent of the State Security. Lazaro was put into a patrol car and then transferred to the car number 977. That was brutally gripped by members of the Special Brigade. The officer who led the operation of the National Revolutionary Police that had number 23454 threatened Lazaro with killing him if he tried again to reach the church, he handcuffed him as well and took him to a truck. After few minutes, he was taken to a cul-de-sac, where they told him to leave the truck. The agent told the policeman: "Take him to the alley and beat him so as he realizes who we are. Lazaro said there was no need to hit him as he is only defending his ideas that are just and truthful. After, they hit him and he fall down on the floor, but he got up immediately and ran. The police followed him in the truck. The policeman did not show any identification nor the arrest warrant from the court. Several days later, he was getting cold compress and antibiotics.
