UNPACU activist, Alexander Chacon Lamoth, was about to participate in the province of Santiago de Cuba at Sunday Mass in order to demand the end of repression and the release of political prisoners on the island. At 5 .50 am he was arrested by the police officers and the state security. He was transferred to the municipality Manuel Tames and released at 11 am not without having received threats from the police officers.
