Activist from the Eastern Democratic Alliance arrested and threatened

At approximately 6pm, an activiste from the Eastern Democratic Alliance was arrested while he was preparing to travel to the city of Antillas, in the municipality of Holguin, to participate in a meeting with other activists from other organizations who had been summoned there. The activist was arrested and taken to the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) unit where he was interrogated. In addition, two officers of the Department of State Security (DSE) threatened him with imprisonment if he continued to create disturbances and trying to convince others to join "counter-revolutionary" groups that were opposing to the revolutionary process. The activist was released in the evening that same day after an official warning was issued for an alleged crime of public disorder.
