Geovanis Diaz Gonzalez was traveling by bus to Holguín Province. When he was passing through the checkpoint located in Niceto Pérez Municipality on Santiago de Cuba Hwy, the policemen asked to see his documents. Then they order him out of the bus and detained him. When Geovanis started protesting, he was told that people like him were prohibited from traveling in those days. When he insisted on his complaints, State Security official Major Alayo put him into the police car and drove him to the operation center. Geovanis was kept there until 7 pm and then released.
