Activist detained and fined for having a crayon



Henry Couto Guzman was on his way to the headquarters of the Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU) in Guantánamo when at street Marti and 4 South was detained by police officers (the official Sergio and the Captain Jeidis González). He was transferred to the unit called Operations, where he was fined 300 pesos for the alleged crime of having a crayon that - according to the officials - would be used for making posters against the revolution.
