Fired after expressing his opinion publicly

The victim worked as a maintenance technician at the Technical Institute centre "Diez de Octubre" located in Macabí. He was fired without any explanation after expressing publicly his opinion about the cost of education in Cuba, saying that it was not free, that it was paid but all the workers. The director of the center heard about this comment and interrogated him at once, but when he saw that the comment was not politically motivated, he let him go. After few days the director interrogated the victim again, but this time he was accompanied by political police and they accused him of making enemy propaganda to the school of the revolution and they threatened to take him to court. He was very afraid afterwards. In the end they fired him without any consequent trial.
