Guatánamo activist threatened with imprisonment

Máximo Armeto González was summoned to the police station in Manuel Tames where he was received by State Security official Raúl. The official threatened González with imprisonment for staying in touch with a counter-revolutionary Henry Couto, who is, according to the official, being investigated for crimes against the security of state. He also warned him that if he did not follow what he was told to do, they could make his life difficult and named several examples what happened to Henry Couto, Niober García and other activists. González did not reply to any of these statements, but expressed his strong conviction that he had not violated any law and thus he is not afraid.
