Dixan Gainza Moré, an activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU), was summoned before the State Security officials (DSE) known as Kevin and Eddy to the Migration Office in the municipality of Camagüey for 1 pm. When he arrived, the officials first tried to convince him to become a DSE informant and to stop his political activities by offering him some economic and work benefits. When the activist refused, the officials proceeded to threats. They told him that they are responsible for checking that nothing suspicious happens and if he did not quit the opposition, he would be put in jail. Dixan has already been a victim of DSE practices since on previous occasions, the officials have confiscated him three cell phones and a digital camera.
