On 30 January 2020, in the morning hours, a bedsheet saying "Freedom for Ferrer, Freedom for the political prisoners" appeared on the prison bars in the section 3B in the Guantánamo Prison. Because of that, the officials working in the prison attacked several detainees kept in this building. One of them was an activist Jorge Agramante who was beaten up and all his belongings were thrown on the ground, searching for any proof of an enemy propaganda. Then he was taken to the punishment cells without any evidence of what really happened. There, Major Rubén, State Security chief in the prison, approached him and told him: "We are going to kill you. You will rot in here."
