On 16 January 2021, an activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU), Julia Sedeño Morales, was a victim of degrading treatment which she experienced from the head of the Employment Department of the Ministry of Labor, Mr. Alberto Gainsa Cueva. This official is known to people for misusing his position and discriminating people who show up at the office in search for a job.
