Activist from Cuban Revolutionary Party detained



Karina was on her way to attend an event carried out by her organization. She was suddenly stopped by police who told her to go back home. When the victim refused, the officers put her into the car and drove her to the police station where Karina had to watch TV for several hours. After that, she was warned to leave the opposition and if not she would suffer the consequences. She was offered that if she left the opposition, she could get a job in tourism. The victim refused immediately and the officials started threatening her with imprisonment, telling her that cooperation with opposition is a failure. After that she was released.
