Activist from Guantanamo detained on his way to Mass

Francisco Osoria Claro is a human rights defender colaborating with the Ladies in White. That day, he was on his way to attend Sunday Mass held in the Church of Saint Catalina de Ricci. When he was passing through Los Maceos street and Camilo Cienfuegos Avenue, State Security official known as Erik intercepted him and told him he was not allowed to go to the church. When Francisco protested, he was detained and driven to the Provincial Operation Unit in Guantánamo. He was released 6 hours later.
