About 6 o'clock in the morning, Celina intended to go to the church of Saint Catherine of Ricci in order to participate in the Sunday Mass organized by the Ladies in White. As she was passing through Los Maceos Street and Camilo Cienfuegos Avenue, the State Security officer known as Kevin or Jeferson intersected her. The officer prevented her from continuing on her way so Celina protested and was detained. They took her to the police center called Operaciones where they told her they would not let her go to church anymore. She was released around 1 pm the same day.
