Member of the Party for Democracy Pedro Luis Boitel Abraham, Sissi Abascal Zamora, and her boyfriend, Saúl Ariel Anaya, were arrested at the terminal of the intermunicipal buses of Colón, on Wednesday, August 2 at noon. They were taken to the Police Unit of Colón. There they were victims of body search and 120.00 CUC (aprox. 102 EUR) were confiscated from them. The political police officer known as Dayron imposed on Sissi a fine of 30.00 CUP (aprox. 1 EUR). Abascal Zamora asked the reason for the fine and Dayron replied: "Because I feel like it." Both were released after 3:15 p.m.
