On July 14, the victim went on hunger strike in protest because he was denied, for the fourth time, a change to the minimum severity regime. On the seventh day of the strike, he was taken to the office of the second head of the unit, Daniel Obregón, to force him to eat. They sprayed him and hit his head against the wall, causing a wound, as a result of which he had a blood spill in his eye. After being subjected to the physical aggressions, he did not receive medical assistance.
