State Security threatens the member of Consejería Jurídica e Instrucción Cívica

July 25, at 11:20, the lawyer Dagoberto Montielo Galainena, member of the Consejería Jurídica e Instrucción Cívica (Legal and Civic Information Association) of Pinar del Río, was visiting his colleague lawyer Evaristo Miranda Landeiro in his house. He was surprised by the officer of State Security Juan Pérez who came to the house and told him that if he continued to participate in the meetings of independent lawyers, bad things would happen to him (he could even go to jail). In addition, Dagoberto was threatened that if he did not go back home and stayed there until July 26, he would be arrested and taken to the police station of the municipality of San Luis. They told him that they already had people watching him.
