UNPACU Activist Detained and Threatened

Victor Campa Almenares was heading to the Cell March 18 as every Thursday. As a general coordinator of the UNPACU in Palma Soriano, Victor commonly attends Thursday meetings and oversees the video debates. On the way to the meeting, the political police and several members of the national police stopped him. Consequently they took him to the PNR of Palma Soriano to the confrontation office. Following an interogation, he was transferred to a cell where he remained for 24 hours, being threatened and blackmailed by the police.
