Lady in White detained when she was on her way to Mass and threatened for her activities

On Sunday, 15 March 2020, a Lady in White María Teresa Castellanos Valido was detained in order to prevent her from going to the San José Church located in the municipality of Colón where she was about to attend the Holy Mass. She was then driven to the premises of the Electricity Company where she was kept between 10 am and 12:30 pm and then released. During her detention, a secret police officer known as Alberto Surí came to the premises and started telling her mendacious information about alleged decisions taken by Berta Soler, the representative of the Ladies in White. María Teresa replied by saying, that she would keep going to the church to pray for the prisoners, even if she was each time detained. "So in that case we will have to find other repressive measures", Alberto Surí said.
