Eduardo is not allowed to return a product he bought without knowing the true conditions



Eduardo Corrales Anuarbe went to a store where he saw an Asian brand fan for 45 CUC (45 USD). There were six of them from which 5 had problems with engine and one was missing a nut, according to the technical record. He noticed that all fans had the same price despite the different types of problems. Eduardo bought the one with the missing nut, but after 30 minutes of using it, it stopped working and it smelled burned. The next day, he returned to the store in order to speak with the manager that told him he could not return the product. Eduardo explained him that the technical record was wrong and that if he had known the real condition of the fan, he would not have bought it. He was sent to speak with Juan Alberto Hernández who is responsible for consumer protection. He took his statement but he did not solve his problem. He went to the office of the Director of the South East Division Elena Peña Castañeda who told him, they would call but they never did.
