The victim was going to visit her husband Yoelquis Rosabal Flores in Guantánamo Prison. She was bringing him some books by José Martí and some books about human rights. When she was about to enter the prison, she was stopped and prevented from visiting her husband. State Security official Major Ruben told her that she woudn´t be permitted to enter becuase of bringing counterevolutionary materials.
