Carlos Álvarez Guerra, along with her 10-year-old daughter was on his way to Colón in order to support Ladies in White. When waiting for the bus, a secret police official Ramón de Armas came to them in order to prevent them from getting on the bus. After a short argument, Ramón de Armas started beating him. His daughter got very nervous and tried to separate the official from her father. Ramón de Armas started beating her as well and took both of them to the Police Department in Los Arabos. Carlos was interrogated and threatened with a high fine in case he continued going to Colón. They were released at 11:25 am.
