Rodolfo Cabrera Arcia, an independent journalist from the Havana Province, was detained and taken to the police unit in Santiago de las Vegas, in the municipality of Boyeros. On that day, Cabrera Arcia was nearby the zone where an accident of Boeing 737 covering the Havana-Holguín route took place. During the accident, 110 people had passed away. The officials tried to accuse him of spreading misinformation about the accident. When they later released him, they additionally fined him 100 Cuban pesos for an alleged violation of the perimeter zone”.
