Activist from Camajuaní arrested on the street by State Security agents

On 15 July 2020, at about 10 am, the Secretary General of the Cuban Reflection Movement (MCR), Librado Ricardo Linares García, was detained on the street. After that he was driven to the municipal delegation of the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) in Camajuaní. There, the officers confiscated him his cell phone and 145 CUC without having issued any record about the confiscation. The whole operation was led by State Security (DSE) official known as Captain Hugo supported by two more agents. When they arrived at the police station, they were joined by the chief of the Confrontation Unit in Villa Clara known as Major Erik Francis or Marcos. Librado was released at 5 pm on the same day.
