A house of UNPACU activist from Guantánamo subjected to a police operation



On 24 December, 2020, a house of the human rights activist and the member of the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU) in Guantánamo, Bartolo Cantillo Romero, was subjected to a police operation, consisting of patrol cars, jeeps belonging to the operational guard and a number of officials and policemen placed around the building. The operation was launched after the San Isidro Movement was calling people to come to the streets on 24 December, when Christmas Eve is celebrated in Cuba. The house of Cantillo Romero was surrounded from 5 am and remained under surveillance until late night.
