Redesneldo, alias Tatao, was detained for putting up posters in Caimanera saying "Down with Raul" and "Down with the Castros". This was a way of protesting an unfair fine. Tatao was first taken to a military checkpoint in Cayamo and then taken to the Detentions Center called "Operaciones" of the State Security. He was interrogated by Officers Sergio and Yoany, whom told him that he would be detained for 24 hours and would be fined heavily. They were released at 23:00 pm the following night and fined 2000 pesos (80 euros); he was prohibited from going for a month to Caimanera, where he was married and resided.
