Activist fined at work for being a human rights defender



On 19th january, the activist was working as a clerk in a meat and sausage stand, when the Inspector Marbelis Escobar Mora arrived. The Inspector was going to impose him and administrative fine for $250 Cuban pesos (10€), when she asked if he continued being part of “the human rights people”. As he answered yes, she told him that as he was not with them, the fine will be for $1.500 CUP(60€).
