Gisela Sanchéz was about to attend an event carried out by the Ladies in White Movement. When she left her home in the municipality of 10 de Octubre, she was detained by State Security officials (DSE) and National Revolutionary Police (PNR) and taken to the detention center known as El Vivac. She was released 10 hours later.
