UNPACU activist detained and driven outside the city



An activist Bartolo Cantillo Romero was going to attend a march, which was being conducted to demand the release of political prisoners and the end of political repression in Cuba. At 6:25 am, Bartolo was detained in San Lino and 2 Sur Street by State Security officials. They put him to the bus parked in direct sun. He was later driven to Imias, a municipality more than 60 km away from the city of Guantánamo and then released.
