Upon an official visit, activists were subjected to surveillance in their homes

Between 28th and 29th November, several homes of human rights defenders were placed under surveillance by the Guantánamo political police. Among the activists who were under surveillance was Yobel Sevila Martinez. As is known, this surveillance and monitoring were due to the government visit made by the Cuban president and a work team composed of several ministers and members of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party to the province of Guantánamo.
