Human rights activist prevented from participating in Mass in Guantánamo



Celina Osoria Claro is a member of the Ladies in White from Guantánamo. On that day, she was heading to the Santa Catalina de Ricci Church in order to attend Mass. When she was passing through the 8 Norte and 5 Oeste Streets, she was detained by State Security (DSE) officials known as Kevin or Jefferson and Víctor Víctor. Then she was taken to the DSE detention center known as Operations. She was kept there for four hours and then released with an official warning for disobedience.
