On January 31, 2016, Roelvis Cuba Zendo was going to attend Sunday Mass in the Santuario del Cobre. The Mass was carried out in order to support Ladies in White, Todos Marchamos campaign and to call for ceasing regime´s repression. At 6 am in 3 Sur Street, Roelvis was detained and beaten by David, a State Security official. He was later transported to the Police Department in Manuel Tames where he was threatened he would be put in jail for social dangerouness. Roelvis was given an official warning and then released.
